Bath Time

I kind of have a love hate relationship with bath time right now...I mean not like I really know what that means anyway :) All I know is that I am not too crazy about being on my back in the tub on my sponge mat but the second mom holds me on my belly I am a happy camper :) I love the after bath time too...mom gives me a nice massage with my baby oil gel and cleans my ears and nose. Then I get all nice and toasty with some fresh pj's.

Swing Time

 

Swing time is kind of fun...I am still getting used to it. At first I wasn't to sure but I actually do enjoy swinging and listening to the soft music. I am so thankful that Ms. Katie is letting me borrow it :)

Black Friday

Daddy had work the Friday after Thanksgiving so Mommy and I went on a shopping adventure.

We went to Vera Bradley and had fun shopping there - when I get older I would like to have a Vera Bradley bag like Mommy and Miss Chelsea!

Gobble Gobble

On Thanksgiving we all went to Miss Chelsea's house and we had so much fun. I slept almost the entire time and woke up just to eat.

While Mommy and Daddy were eating Miss Chelsea held me - she enjoyed staring at me :)

After Miss Chelsea held me I was passed off to Auntie Kala and boy oh boy does she love to hold me for sure! Then Miss Shana held me and she kept me nice and toasty!

There were a lot of kids there making a ton of noise but I slept through all of it!

Ariel's Second Doctor's Appointment

After my first Doctor's appointment I didn't mind going back to see Dr. Bahsin - she is a really nice baby doctor; my mom made a good choice :)

I am a good eater and I weighed 7lbs 3ozs when I went for my second appointment and I was 20.25 inches long.

Ariel's First Doctors Appointment

I had my first check up with the Doctor after leaving the hospital with mommy and daddy on Nov 17th. When I went to the Doctor I did not like having to get undressed to get weighed - I got so chilly! As soon as mommy could she asked Babcia to give me a blanket to wrap me up so I could get nice and warm until the Doctor came in. When Dr. Bahsin came in the room she was so calm but I was screaming my head off when mommy had to put me down again - did I mention I don't like getting cold :) Dr. Bahsin said I sounded great and I looked great - especially since my jaundice was going away; not to worry I didn't have a bad case of jaundice. Soon after Dr. Bahsin checked my front side she put me on my belly and I was in heaven! I love being on my belly - especially when mommy or daddy is burping me. I just love falling asleep on mommy while being on my belly :) Also when I went to my first Doctor appointment I was already back to my birth weight - I guess it is because I am a good eater. Daddy thinks that I will have a high metabolism and he hopes I will love to run too - maybe that can be our hobby we do together!

Ariel's Space

My mommy and daddy made sure to buy me only the best and I got some really nice furniture for sure - I do plan on taking it with me once I am old enough (don't tell them I said that though).

My Great Grams made me the awesome owl painting named RieRie. My mommy's friend Sara had someone make me the letter A canvas. My Grammy bought the cute owl canvas for me. And my mommy's friend Cameron gave me the pink cross.

Hi to all my family and friends! I am so excited to share with you all that is going on in my little, itty bitty world! I joined my mommy and daddy on 11.13.10 and am so excited to be here and spend time with them and all of my family and friends. I was born at Harbor Hospital and I came 4 days before my due date. I weighed 6lbs 14ozs and was 20in long. I was born at 1647. I was extra nice to my mommy and let her push for less than 20 minutes - how generous I am. I love sleeping, eating, alert time and watching VT football with my daddy on Saturdays. I am excited to go on adventures with my mommy and daddy and to see my family as they come and visit me. I will be sure to keep you posted on all I am up to - since I am one busy baby!
